dsc000181Today I present an instructional video showing the folding of water lily. It is one of the simplest models, the folding of is based on the repeating one basic fold. Model of water lily is also very gentle, it looks good as a decoration, and folding it takes a few minutes. With these properties, it found a place in the hearts of both beginners and advanced origami fans. Colorful, tiny water lilies can be inserted in a metal sheath heaters and let the water bath for a change.

Tip : in order to the lily had more layers, I recommend making three copies from sheet: 20cm x 20cm, 16cm x 16cm and 13cm x 13cm, the smallest model is best to be done in yellow, to imitate the stamens of the flower.

1656036_735673229790394_1479355511_nToday I present you a video showing the folding of small stars. The figure is made of thin strips of approx 1 cm x 20 cm. Slight deviations in the length of the strip will not have a significant impact on the appearance of the star (eg, in the film is used strip 1×22 cm in length, and every day I use strips with a length of 18cm). Even doing the model you can allow spontaneous modification of the paper. When the bar is too long to fit into the pocket trimming it will not be a sin. Close wrapping strap and clamping it on the sides is important when folding star. Without following these two principles the pentagon will be dented inwards. Making the model requires a little practice, but what is not done to achieve a satisfactory result? Welcome to the tutorial!

I present an instructional video showing the folding dog from paper. This figure is a so-called “action origami” because it is able to move. The dog is made of two small sheets of the same color. This is not a stable figure, so it is not good as a gift, but is doing great as an ornament to be placed on a desk or in a child’s room. It is not complicated, so it can be folded even by a person who had never made origami before. Have fun!

Figure of pigeon is one of the most recognizable and easiest paper models. Because of its simplicity many people begin their adventure with origami from folding a pigeon. Special paper of a certain size is not required, but any square piece of paper can be used.  You can also fold a pigeon from a thin napkin, and leave a mark in the cafe.
